Making a Booking

Bookings cover hotels, rentals, and services. Each works slightly differently, but all end with a confirmation you can manage from your Bookings section.

Hotel booking​

  1. Open a hotel and choose your check-in and check-out dates
  2. Select a room type
  3. Review the pricing breakdown:
    • Base room rate (per night × nights)
    • Service charge
    • Any deposit the hotel requires
  4. Apply a voucher if you have one
  5. Choose a payment method and confirm

Rental booking​

  1. Open a rental item and choose any variant
  2. Select your rental period (start and end)
  3. Choose delivery (item brought to you) or pickup (you collect it)
  4. Review pricing, including any security deposit
  5. Apply a voucher, choose payment, and confirm

Services booking​

  1. Open a service
  2. Select the professional if the service lets you choose one
  3. Pick an available date and time slot
  4. Review pricing
  5. Apply a voucher, choose payment, and confirm

Applying vouchers​

Enter your voucher code in the promo field at booking checkout — the discount applies before payment. See Payment Methods and Gift Vouchers.

Payment methods for bookings​

Depending on the partner you may see:

  • Online card (Paystack)
  • Mobile money
  • Cash at check-in / pickup or Card at check-in / pickup

Hotels and rentals may require a deposit paid at booking even when the balance is paid later.

Booking confirmation​

After confirming you receive an in-app notification and a confirmation email with your booking reference, dates, and the partner's details.

Managing a booking​

From Bookings, open a booking to:

  • View the details and reference
  • Modify dates, where the partner allows changes
  • Cancel — refund depends on the partner's cancellation policy (see Cancellations and Refunds)

Note: Hotel, rental, and service cancellation terms are set by each partner. Always check the booking's cancellation policy before you book.
