Parcel Delivery Requests

Use BookMaMe Parcel Delivery when you want to send an item from one address to another and track the handoff through the platform.
What you can do
With parcel delivery you can:
- create a parcel request with pickup and drop-off details
- choose a supported delivery company
- pay online or apply a voucher where available
- track the parcel as the sender
- link a BookMaMe recipient, or send to a contact-only recipient

Before you start
Have these ready:
- the pickup address with its exact map location
- the drop-off address with its exact map location
- the parcel type / delivery class
- the parcel weight, dimensions / volume, and declared value
- the recipient name and phone number
- optional parcel photos
These details are used to decide which delivery companies can handle the parcel and how delivery pricing is calculated.

Creating a parcel request
- Open Parcel Delivery in the customer app
- Fill in the pickup and drop-off details
- Add the parcel details:
- description
- delivery class
- weight
- dimensions / volume
- declared value
- Add recipient details
- Upload parcel photos if helpful
- Tap Check delivery companies
The app saves the request as a draft first, then checks which delivery companies are eligible.

Choosing addresses
- You can use the map picker to pin the exact pickup and drop-off locations
- You can also choose from your saved addresses
- For parcel delivery, the exact geolocation matters, not just the address text
If a delivery company does not appear, it may be because the route, parcel class, size, or supported region does not match that company's setup.
Linking the recipient
You can send a parcel in two ways:
| Recipient type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Linked BookMaMe user | Search using the recipient's BookMaMe account code. The platform links the request to their account. |
| Contact-only recipient | Use the recipient's name, phone number, and optional email without linking to a BookMaMe account. |
Linked recipients get an in-app tracking experience. Contact-only recipients rely on the contact channels available for that request.
Selecting a delivery company
After checking delivery companies, you can review the available options and pick one.
What affects the list:
- pickup and drop-off locations
- parcel delivery class
- parcel weight and size
- the selected currency
- the delivery company's supported parcel capabilities
If no company appears, review the route and parcel details first.

Paying for the request
After selecting a delivery company:
- Review the delivery fee
- Apply a voucher if you have one
- Confirm the checkout email
- Choose one of the available payment providers
- Complete the payment
The payment methods shown depend on the current country, the selected currency, and which online gateways are supported for that request.
After payment
Once payment succeeds:
- the parcel request moves into the live delivery flow
- the delivery company can dispatch a rider
- you can follow the parcel from the sender tracking page

Managing your parcel requests
Open My Parcel Requests to:
- view active and completed parcel requests
- resume a draft
- open the sender tracking page
- review the request number, status, fee, and selected delivery company
