Parcel Delivery - Recipient Tracking

If a parcel is sent to your BookMaMe account, you can follow the delivery in the app and confirm receipt when the parcel reaches you.
When this page applies
This guide applies when the sender linked you as the recipient using your BookMaMe account code.
If the sender did not link your account, you may still receive contact updates by email or SMS where supported, but you will not use the same in-app recipient tracking flow.
Opening recipient tracking
Open the parcel notification or your parcel request link to see:
- parcel request number
- current delivery status
- delivery company details
- drop-off address
- recipient-safe tracking updates
The recipient view is intentionally narrower than the sender view. Some sender-only details are not shown.

Delivery confirmation
When the parcel is almost complete, the page may show a delivery confirmation PIN and a Confirm delivery action.
How it works:
- Review the delivery status
- Make sure you have actually received the parcel
- Tap Confirm delivery
- Confirm the prompt
The app can use the visible in-app PIN automatically for the confirmation request.
Copying the PIN
If a PIN is shown, you can copy it from the tracking page. This is useful if:
- you need to relay it during the handoff
- you want to keep it ready before the rider arrives
Only use the PIN when the parcel is actually being delivered.
What if you cannot receive the parcel?
If the rider cannot complete the handoff:
- the delivery may fail temporarily
- the parcel may be held at the delivery company's facility
- the company may retry delivery or return the parcel to the sender
The sender remains the main owner of the parcel request and may see additional return-flow details.
