Parcel Delivery - Sender Tracking

As the sender, you can follow the parcel from payment through pickup, transit, delivery confirmation, or return-to-sender if the delivery fails.
Opening the tracking page
Open My Parcel Requests, select the request, then tap Track.
The tracking page shows:
- parcel request number
- current status
- selected delivery company
- pickup and drop-off details
- recipient details
- parcel photos and metadata where available

Typical sender-side milestones
You may see statuses such as:
- awaiting pickup
- rider assigned
- waiting for sender pickup start
- picked up / in transit
- delivery confirmation requested
- completed
- delivery failed
- return in progress
- returned to sender
The exact labels may vary slightly by situation.
Starting pickup handoff
When the rider is assigned and arrives for collection, the sender may need to start the pickup handoff in the app.
- Open the tracking page
- Tap Start pickup handoff
- Follow the on-screen prompt
After that, the pickup confirmation step can continue with the rider.
In some cases the sender may then also see Confirm pickup handoff. This is used when the rider gives the sender the pickup confirmation code during the collection handoff.
Only confirm the pickup handoff when the parcel has actually been collected by the rider.
Sender-assisted recipient confirmation
If the recipient is not linked to a BookMaMe account, the sender may see a sender-assisted PIN.
Use it only to help the recipient complete the delivery handoff. For example:
- relay the PIN by phone or message
- help the recipient provide it to the rider at delivery time
Do not share the PIN before the parcel is actually being handed over.
If the recipient is linked to BookMaMe
If the recipient is linked to a BookMaMe account:
- the recipient gets their own in-app tracking experience
- they can see the delivery confirmation step in their app
- sender-assisted relay is usually not needed

Returns to sender
If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel may move into a return flow.
As sender you may see:
- delivery failed
- at delivery company / depot
- return in progress
- returned to sender
When the parcel is being returned, the sender tracking page is the main place to follow that progress and confirm receipt where required.
Cancellations
Parcel cancellation is most straightforward before dispatch begins. Once the parcel is already in operational fulfillment, self-service cancellation may no longer be available.
