Setting the base nightly rate
Each room type has a base nightly rate.
- Open the room type in Room Types
- Open the Rates section
- Set the base rate per night in your currency
- Save
This rate applies to any night not covered by a seasonal override.

Seasonal / date-range pricing
Override the base rate for specific periods (peak season, holidays, events):
- In Rates, click Add rate override
- Set the date range and the override rate
- Save
For nights inside the range, customers are charged the override rate instead of the base rate. Overrides are useful for raising prices in peak periods or discounting low season.

Minimum stay requirements
Set a minimum number of nights for certain periods (e.g. a 2-night minimum on holiday weekends):
- Apply a minimum stay to a date range in the Rates section
- Customers cannot book fewer nights than the minimum for those dates
Security deposit
Set the security deposit for the room type:
- Amount and currency
- Collection point — collected at booking (online) or at check-in (cash/card), depending on the customer's payment method
The deposit protects against damage. Its handling at checkout is covered in Finance and Deposit Settlement.

Service charge (read-only)
A platform service charge is added on top of your rate. It is set by BookMaMe and is read-only for you — you cannot change it. It appears in the customer's price breakdown and is deducted from your payout. See Partner Finance and Settlement.
When rate changes take effect
Rate, override, minimum-stay, and deposit changes apply to new bookings only. Bookings already confirmed keep the price agreed at booking time — changing a rate never re-prices an existing reservation.
What customers see
At booking, the customer sees a full breakdown:
Nightly rate × number of nights = room subtotal
+ Service charge
+ Security deposit
= Total payable
