Restaurant Partner — Getting Started

This guide walks you through the complete journey from receiving your BookMaMe invitation to your restaurant going live on the platform.


Overview of the Process

Receive invitation email
→ Unlock the form with your PIN
→ Pay the submission fee (if applicable)
→ Fill in and submit the form
→ BookMaMe reviews your application
→ Receive approval notification
→ Pay the approval fee (if applicable)
→ Account is created
→ Log in and set up your menu

What to Have Ready

Gather these before opening the form — you will need them during the application:

Step 1 — Receiving and Opening Your Invitation

The BookMaMe onboarding team will send you an email with:

  • A unique invitation link for your application
  • Your PIN (sent separately for security)

Click the link to open the onboarding form. The form shows as locked until you enter your PIN.

Step 2 — Paying the Submission Fee

If a submission fee applies to your application, you will see a payment card before the form unlocks. This fee is non-refundable and covers the cost of processing your application.

  1. Click Pay Now
  2. You are redirected to the Paystack payment page
  3. Pay by card or mobile money
  4. On return, the form unlocks automatically

If no submission fee is shown, proceed directly to filling the form.

Step 3 — Filling the Form

The form has two main sections:

Identity and contact details (all partner types)

Restaurant operations

Logo and cover image

Upload your restaurant logo and a cover image using the upload buttons at the bottom of the restaurant operations section.

Step 4 — Saving a Draft and Submitting

You can save your progress at any time using Save Draft. Drafts are accessible by returning to your invitation link and entering your PIN.

When you are ready and all required fields are complete:

  1. Click Submit Application
  2. Confirm the submission prompt

After submission you can no longer edit the form unless the BookMaMe team reopens it for revision.


Step 5 — Application Review

The BookMaMe team reviews your application — typically within a few business days. They will check your business documents, verify your address, and confirm your details.

You may receive a request for additional information if anything is unclear. Reply via the email thread or open a support case if you have questions.


Step 6 — Approval and Activation Fee

When your application is approved, you receive an email confirming approval. If an approval fee applies, the email includes the amount and a payment link.

  1. Click the payment link (or return to your invitation link and unlock with your PIN)
  2. You will see the Activation fee card on the form
  3. Pay via Paystack (card or mobile money)

Once the fee is paid (or if no fee applies), the BookMaMe team creates your account.

Step 7 — First Login

After your account is created, the BookMaMe team sends you:

  • The restaurant partner app URL
  • Your login credentials or a password setup link

Log in and complete your setup:

  1. Set up your menu — add categories and menu items before going live (Menu Management guide)
  2. Assign a delivery company — required before you can accept delivery orders (Delivery Partner Management)
  3. Set your opening hours — customers cannot order outside these hours (Branch Management)
  4. Invite your team — add managers and staff with appropriate roles (Team Management)

If you have questions at any stage, email the BookMaMe onboarding team using the contact in your invitation email, or open a support case once your account is created.
